Elo Rankings & Player Details in Leagues

Each league now includes player Elo rankings that update after every tournament. Each player also has a dedicated page with detailed stats.

Play-Offs and Knockout Tournaments

You can now run play-offs and knockout tournaments, with a bracket showing each team’s progress to the final and a match for third place.

Teams from Players

You can now create teams by selecting individual players, as well as by entering team names. This is useful for leagues that use different tournament formats.

Other Improvements

• Delete rounds by long-pressing them. PadelMix automatically reorders the remaining rounds.
• UI and UX improvements make the app easier to use.
• A new Mexicano setting helps reduce rematches.
• Configure leaderboard tie-breaking rules and choose how rankings are calculated.

Tournament Analytics

After a tournament ends, you can now view more detailed analytics alongside the list of completed rounds.

Tournament Simulation

Preview what your tournament will look like before creating it, and see how each setting affects the matches.

Share Leaderboard Photo

Create a shareable photo with your tournament leaderboard overlaid on it, then post it on social media or send it to friends.

Recurring Tournaments

If you regularly play tournaments with the same group, you can now set a recurring schedule and have PadelMix generate each tournament automatically.

• The leaderboard now displays 🔥 next to players on a winning streak.
• You can now create tournaments using the Swiss format.
• The Round Timer Alarm has a new tone and increased volume.
• Performance improvements across the entire app, from faster tournament generation to a more responsive interface.

In this update, we made the app faster, fixed various issues, and added a few new features.

Tournament Start Date

You can now change the start date of your tournament for better organization. You can also set a future start date for planned tournaments.

Average Points per Round for Mexicano

You can now choose to use average points per round for Mexicano round generation when you think it will create a more balanced tournament. You can configure this option during tournament creation.

Edit Tournament Courts

You can now add or remove courts from existing tournaments. This makes it easier to run more dynamic tournaments. PadelMix regenerates rounds based on the number of available courts.

Additional Improvements

• You can now manually select the algorithm priority when creating unbalanced Americano tournaments.
• Tournament creation should now be faster thanks to improved navigation performance.

Timer for Rounds

You can now set round duration when creating a tournament and use a timer in the app and Live Activities, as well as get system alarms when the timer is up.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed a bug in Americano algorithm when round multipliers were used. Tournaments should be more balanced now.
• Improved leaderboard rankings in cases of ties.
• Improved rounds regeneration for Mexicano tournaments.

New Tournament Formats

In this version we’re introducing new tournament formats.

• Club Americano: Players are paired with a teammate from the same club and matched against a pair from a different club.
• Beat the Box: Americano played in boxes (groups of 4), with Mexicano-style regrouping between each stage to ensure more balanced games.
• King of the Hill: Format where winners advance to the higher court while others move down every round, competing for the top court.

Bonus Points for Win and Draw

You can now give bonus points to participants for wins or draws to make the game even more interesting.

Other Improvements

• Rewrite of the score entry modal. Now it should be much faster and more performant.
• More improvements to the Americano algorithm for large tournaments.
• Optimizing the app to work better with very large tournaments (over 36 players), everything should be much faster now.

Edit Ongoing Tournaments

You can now edit ongoing tournaments for cases when some players are late or leaving the match earlier. PadelMix will create new rounds after every edit. Go to “Edit Match” from the menu to add, replace or remove players from any tournaments at any moment.

Unbalanced Mixed Americano

You can now play mixed tournament with any combination of male and female players. PadelMix will attempt to create the best possible round combination for any tournament setup.

Other improvements

In addition to fixing various bugs, the new version also includes:

• More fixes and improvements to americano algorithm. Tournaments should be generated even better and be more balanced.
• Accessibility Improvements: A new optional high-contrast theme, better support for reduced motion and larger texts.
• Allow full data export so that all the data can be transferred to the new device even if you don’t have iCloud sync enabled.

• Allow resuming finished tournaments. Sometimes you need to edit already finished tournament. With the new version you can resume already finished tournament for 24h after finishing.

Tournament Drafts

Now you can start creating a tournament, add players and save a draft to come back later and finish tournament creation. Now your progress is saved and you can pick up where you left off. You can have unlimited number of drafts.

Final Round in Americano

You can now generate a final round for your americano tournament even if you haven’t played all the matches. This will generate the most optimal final round that will help to get the final leaderboard.

Bug Fixes & Other Improvements

• Improved mixed mexicano and americano algorithms.
• Point entry process is now much faster. Users on the older versions of Android might notice a biggest difference.
• Fix leaderboard ordering issues, now it should work as expected.
• Improvements for users who use increased font sizes.
